About Me

I am a front-end web developer with a background in graphic design. I am always on the look-out for new and upcoming web trends and I love implementing them into my designs. I actively seek out new solutions that meet client needs and expectations while following existing standards and expanding my knowledge to include new skills.

At my current position I use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to create and maintain client-facing web designs based off static image files or PSDs that will function on our CMS and fulfill client and internal marketing needs. I, along with a team of others, maintain the 3,000+ websites hosted on our CMS. All websites are completely browser compatible (as much as I hate IE7!) and mobile-friendly. I eat, sleep, and breathe code.

I also run a freelance web development business in my spare time (what there is of it!) that includes everything from web design through PSD to HTML. I see your project from start, whether that is an idea or a full-blown design proof, to finish, leaving you with a fully functional website using the latest, greatest web trends.

I graduated from ITT Tech in Omaha, Nebraska in March 2011 with an associates in Visual Communication. I not only graduated with highest honors, but got accepted into Alpha Beta Kappa’s National Honor Society as well.

I am constantly looking for new ways to improve my skills and appease my jack-of-all-trades appitite. See what I've been up to on Code School, Codecademy and GitHub.

Iced or Hot?

I like my life like I like my coffee,
different every day.

According to the Gallup Strengthsfinder, I a am person who is hellbent on winning people over and finding the best way to communicate with those people. I enjoy the challenge of meeting new people and getting them to like me.

My other top three strengths are Strategic, Input, and Activator which means I enjoy finding new solutions and putting them into play the best way possible. I am impatient for action and ready to tackle the next hurdle.

My culture index places me in a position where I bear a lot of weight on my interactions with people rather than things. I am a compelling speaker when passionate, who always seeks group approval of my opinions.

Variety in work related activity is a must, but I am competely capable of focusing on redundant task without losing interest.

I have an equal blend of emotion and logic, which allows me to take others' feelings into consideration as well as logic. This circles around to my #1 strength: WOO.

Woo(p)... there it is.
